Need toe plate steel please

Good evening . I am puttering around with 2 smr projects,and need 2 pieces of steel of the following dimensions

3/32" thick     corrected
1/2" wide
12" long
My hands just can't handle the effort required to do this myself.
I appreciate any help.

I don't have anything that long laying around or I'd send it to you.  I just looked again and all I have is an 8" piece of brass that's 1/8."  You may be able to find a piece in the metal rack at lowes around the welding stuff.  I've bought pieces from there that was a little more than a 1/8th.

Ace is the place. They will cut off whatever you need.

1/8” is on the thick side for toe plates. I’ve seen originals with toe plates thinner than 1/16”. If you have trouble finding thick stuff, might give thinner a try.

I would not use anything over 3/32. but thats just me.
