Beautiful rifle, Ron. It's especially nice to see the super high quality Jaeger lock created by Chris Laubach and trigger set by Morris Melani to add to the parts authenticity for today's Jaeger builders. All this thanks to your efforts and persistence.

True modern art. What exactly is the detail behind the tang? The section of the carving that has what looks like a walnut like texture, are those indentations as from a small punch?

Absorbing what you can see in the pictures takes time.  The rifle in hand must be an absolute stunner.

As usual with your work Ron, a museum piece that you can shoot.  Simply outstanding.

Most times I would prefer a high quality English piece but in this case I would for sure " adjust " my preferences. Very nice.

Nice work Ron. Very clean carving I can really appreciate good dense wood for the pleasure of carving. Those castings look very nice. Did you have to do slot of work on them to get them to look like they do?
Cheers Richard

I reworked all the cast art. There always seem to be a few spots where the engraving does not reproduce well. Once those  spots are dealt with there is a contrast with the original cast surface, so to get a consistent and crisp affect the entire artwork gets a facelift, with the received backgrounds retextured as well.
