Todd and his rifle
« on: November 25, 2022, 08:13:41 PM »
Just wanted to show our employee Todd and the rifle he made.  Needless to say he picked out a pretty nice piece of wood!

So, did he actually make it or just assemble one of your kits.  Either way, it's a nice rifle.

Fantastic looking wood. Made a beautiful rifle. That's the color I'd like on my rifle. What did Todd use to stain the stock?

Thanks, and I'm Todd says the same.  I believe he just used iron nitrate for the stain and finished this with Permalyn.  He's continuing to build a little more finish and I think he's just using some ultra thin coats of Tried and True at this point.
