« on: December 28, 2022, 10:57:12 PM »
Need a good 5/16” diameter straight grained split hickory rammer for my .32 cal squirreling piece.

Anyone have a source? Can’t find split nowheres. Don’t want no dang monkey wood dowel.

Neither have I, Rich. Most have a little run out.
Panzer- if you want splits, buy a straight grained (as possible) hickory board from the hardwood dealer
near you and make it yourself.
I think Taylor or someone else might even have a tutorial here on this.
