No - not if done carefully. The little .32 Tenn' rifle has become my favourite rifle for trail walks on Sundays and it gets taken apart and cleaned each time as do any other rifles I use. The 'trouble' is only about 10 to 15 min. worth. Come cooler weather, I'll probably gravitate to the larger bored guns as those little .32 and .40 cal balls are difficult to handle with frozen fingers.
