Double bag made from vegetable tanned calf-hide, goathide, deerhide; black hair-on woodchuck hide; barktanned deerhide, antique textiles, hemp, cord, and a repurposed antique buckle.  Powder horn by Billy Griner:  a small Jersey Cow horn, with a black walnut base plug, and a three-piece antler and copper spout.

Very nice looking rig.  I like double bags as they are easy to use in the field.

Also if interested in double bags check out Bill Smith at https//billsmithblackpowder.com . Made with just about any leather you suggest. Have one made by him with buffalo hide and very good workmanship and very roomy. I like it better than other single bags I have, both for rifle and smoothbore.

I think when you two guys grow up, one of you ought to be a bag maker and the other a horn maker.

Excellent pieces by both Masters and pair together like they grew that way.

Ha! That (either of us growing up) will never happen!
