Pretty danged good for a country boy using a 5lb hammer and a roofing nail
One of these days I'm going to get you to teach me some of your tricks.
BTW book is in the mail.
Sure had fun with you at the AL-KY show, I talked to folks non-stop (you know me...) and still didn't get to talk to everybody I wanted to. Maybe next year you can schedule a few more hours in each day

Thanks Carl. I was a great show and I am glad you enjoyed it. I want to thank you again for doing the presentation on barrel making. It was well received and I was told by several folks how much they enjoyed it.

I really like that too. I’m trying to screw my courage up to engrave my rifle.

I am especially fond of the chipped lines around the plate and hammer. Very pleasing to the eye. Guess I gotta get myself a 3 pound hammer and a roofing nail. I have been trying this all wrong!
