Fundraiser Bag Completed

I finally finished the Germanic hunting bag for the CLF fundraiser. I also made the buckle and ring. I based it off an 18th century Johann Elias Ridinger engraving. It is to be part of a set to include a staghorn flask being made by Carl Dumke and they are to accompany an early German rifle made by the late John Bivins and other makers.

Oh my gracious. That is amazing work even by your high standards. I recall that engraving well, and doubt the original bag came anywhere near this bag’s quality. The details are eye popping. Bravo James! God bless, Marc

Good grief! That's stunning!!! Not only the embossing but the execution of the stitching, etc., etc. Wow!

Id keep that in a safe at home instead of risking damage at the range.

Hmm, looks like I might need to start to raise some funds for this.
Extremely nice work.

That bag is just plain beautiful. Workmanship is definitely over the top. I have been following the flask Carl is making and this is going to be a grand set when completed.

I thank you! It should be a really interesting set. Carl Dumke is coming along nicely on the flask.
