Defibaugh Stock Pattern

In 2012, I purchased William Defibaugh's bench, rifler and various tools from the Defibaugh family in Bedford,Pa. Pictures of the rifler and bench can be found on this site in "Tools Of The Trade". I do not have the bench or the rifler anymore. However, I did keep the tools including William's stock pattern/template. Made of pine with it's straight saw marks and darkened color. Thought I would share.

That pattern is a pretty unusual and unique item to have. I'm just betting that not many originals have survived at all. Thanks for letting us admire it.

When I last visited the museum in Bedford, Pa. about 30 years ago they had displayed a stock pattern similar to that. I recall it being from Daniel Border.
