It looks a very good book, Niall.
All the best for Christmas,

Yes, it does, Richard. 500 pages , lots of great illustrations and a good back story. I've ordered a copy even though I've never had a particular interest in powder horns. Time to learn, I suppose.
Many happy returns for the Season.

Niall,
when you get the book and have it digested, Can you give us a review? I am sort of wavering and wondering how it compares to the "Powder Flask book by Rawlins, Rawlings?? Forget the name!

This new book does what it says on the tin....British Powder Flasks.....The Rilings book is more general, I think.
