New Heat Treated Frizzen

Ordered a extra frizzen for my little Becky lock. Larry Zorn heated it and here it is. Just a old
dull Pierce Missouri flint in it. These people know their stuff!

Yeah, that one is so fast that it fired and recocked before the camera snapped the picture. Dang that's a good lock.

Yea, the self-cocking feature of the lock really gets them on the range!!

Don't those full-auto flintlocks require some kind of special permit?

I once had a percussion gun that had the right combination of weak main spring and burned out nipple and double set trigger that would, on occasion cock itself.  It was real exciting to shoot.  I think it spit out more fire than that flintlock.    Don't forget the safety glasses.
