Flat buffalo horns

For your critique . Got a bunch of buffalo horns in a trade . These 2 were small so I thought , flat horn .

Very nice!!!!!!! I love the color combination of the black horn with the brown base plug, and the horn carving looks really well done. Congratulations on some nice work!

Very nice work. Those are really flat. Do you thin the horn down before flattening? All the buffalo horns I have worked are very thick.

I've never really liked all black horns until now.  These two are well made and well crafted.  Super nice work.

MCTrapper , these were from young buffalo and not as thick as an old bull .
After cleaning off the rough exterior I flattened and then shaped them to what you see .
This was a new adventure for me (flat buffalo) and I appreciate all the input .
