Freddy Harrison wood, same tree. One piece became a David Price swivel done by Wayne Estes, the other piece went to Mike Brooks.

Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses. -Juvenal

That swivel breech is pretty cool, but I sure prefer the colour of the Brooks rifle. This of course, is just  a matter of taste.
Both rifles are super.

Would never guess they were from the same tree. Shows how much you can do with different techniques. But both are indeed beautiful.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?
