I don't think that's true, unless it's your personal preference, or things have changed over the last year. I live in Pennsylvania. I buy BP guns from Canada quite often. I have the lock shipped separately. One week later, I have the rest of the gun shipped. I use either UPS or FedEx. I have never had an issue. Since it's not a complete gun, they are considered parts and labeled accordingly.

Canada to the US must be UPS or FedEx. Accurately label the customs form 'Muzzleloader Musket Parts (Non-firing)'. Canadian Customs wants to be sure it's not a complete gun. US Customs doesn't care.

I just tried to contact fedex its all pick up and drop off points here located in stores and they dont know anything about shipping gun parts

Without the lock, it's just musket parts.
Then sending the lock, it's just machined parts.
Might as well play "the game".

Hi Daryl and everyone else I tried to remove this post but could not anyway I talked to FedEx supervisor and she told me they have shipped ammo but no muzzleloader parts which she would have no problem shipping but does not know about Canada customs so if they get seized no refunds.So Heffley creek might be my only option.
