bending barrel
« on: June 05, 2023, 03:32:20 AM »
Hi: I have a barrel that shoots to the right. Both front and rear sight are maxed out. Which direction do I bend the front of the barrel to move bullet impact left. Thank you, Rex

Left, looking from the breech end. Right, if you are looking at the muzzle.

That sounds like a lot. Are you sure the muzzle is square to the barrel? And whatever crowning is done is symmetric? Does the bore have any really major problems?

Does the rifle shoot to the right with other people shooting it?

You’ll be bending the barrel in the middle. Push the middle in the direction opposite of where you want the bullet to go.
I hope that makes sense.
