Jim Shokey powder

Hi I have been given an unopened can of Jim Shokey powder. Has anyone tried this stuff in a coplock rifle? Thanks

Peel off the cowboy bs and find out who makes the powder. He has just put his name on someone else’s product and marketed it.

I have a pound called Jim Shocky Gold or something. I cant find much info on it. Haven't tried it. So who made it before he put his name on it?

You could be the 1st ! Better than storing it ,I used to use his pellets (not impressed)/Ed

I had thought his powder was a re-labeled fake powder.

A friend used it for blank charges during some of our reenacting public displays.
It said he wanted it because it's "non corrosive"  It did go off when primed with GOEX but the stuff was a lot more sensitive to our humid summer weather.
I can't remember exactly, but I think Bill Monk said it was a "sugar ?  " based powder
I do know that our local shop carries it and it's a lot more expensive than GOEX
