On the original rifle is there carving by the rear entry pipe ? If so please describe it or if a photo is out there even better. Thank you in advance for any help.

In talking to Wallace Gusler - he owned it at the time, maybe still does - he said that it was likely carved there similar to the carving behind the tang, so that's what I did with my "reproduction" of it. That was probably back about '05.
