 Between the rifle build, I like to make products with my children. Samuel and i decided to build a rev war canteen to the best of our abilities. It was challenging but extremely fun. We water tested them yesterday and the grin on his face was priceless when he found out that it holds water without leaking. Here are some photos of our journey. Thanks for looking

I love father/son projects!
Question- I am guessing the inner ring is used to support the front and back plates. Will it swell from water and split the outer ring?

Bob we cheated a bit and poured brewers pitch inside while it was hot to coat the seams inside. I wanted him to be able to use it often and not worry about it growing things inside
