Scott, I did not know that farm chores had a beginning and an end. All kidding aside, another nice horn. Is that a copper repair wrap?

It is a rawhide sleeve painted green with most of the paint removed and then shellaced. They never are done. I was helping a friend load and haul 80 head of cow/calf pairs. Glad I dont own them.

Scott.....nice, I like it......now you know it's good. Just curious as to what the weather is like out there in Wyoming, we've
been hit with a lot of snow and cold here in the east.....I would assume you have more of the same............Don

Scott what kind of raw hide did you use. I like those old rawhide repairs.

Whitetail, thick enought ot be worked into place after its sewn and light enough so as not to look obtrusive.
Did you ever try straightening moose antler? Merry Christmas

Scott:
I wish had time "between chores" to make something like that. That is a really nice horn. I love the neck/throat treatment. The "repair" is cool too, and of course your antiquing is first rate.
Great job!
