I saw a set of the nicest planes at Highland Hardware in Atlanta, yesterday. These are hand made and designed for making musical instruments, they come in sizes from about 3/4" to about 3" with flat and convex curved bottoms, all solid brass bodies. Pretty little things the 3" planes ran about $150.00 each and the smaller one were much less. Looked like woodworking jewelry.
