A Christmas Horn
«

Here's a little horn I made to hang on a tree. I'm not sure what type of wood the butt is. I turned it from a piece of a piano leg I had lying around. The spout plug is a piece of pine from siding. I stained the horn with aquafortis, then dipped in dark walnut stain. Wrapping ribbon for the strap attached with braded waxed linen thread.
To everyone a very Merry Christmas

Wow! I can just picture a whole tree full of them. Sounds like a project. Merry Christmas to you too and to everyone on the ALR site.

Cool Scott! I assume you plan on putting it on the tree every year after? Merry Christmas!

Actually, this one was a blanket prize at our monthly club shoot. I have another one (not as good) that is on our tree..

Thank you all. I wish I had more of these little horns, cause they look good on the tree.
