I suspect, and I am no expert on the subject so I hope someone here proves me wrong, that it is a shop made one-off. That someone took a brass trinket of some sort and modified it into a primer by soldering on 2 pipes and a modern 20th century dispenser. The pipes are to run a cord through so you can wear the primer around your neck, a practice some people frowned upon but was popular decades ago I heard? Whatever it turns out to be, it's pretty cool and I'd be happy to own it.

It appears to me to be made from a brass lawman's badge.  Interesting.

I agree looks home made but to me it looks more of a oil bottle than a priming flask

Partial touch mark on the back? Doesn’t look old enough to be actually from the flint era but that’s a guess too. Looks martial to me for some reason.

Thanks for the input.  I tried to read the mark on the back but it was only partly there so I thought it might have been a commercial product from the 1970's.  Spout is a modern type with spring and throughs 3 gr. of powder.  It is interesting!  steg49
