Ugly Frog Sticker

Whipped this up by stock removal. English walnut handle with iron pins.
Made in a hurry, I countersunk the pin holes too wide and had to really work to fill them with the peened pins but it's a solid working piece. I have not made many but this one is not one of the better looking ones

Out of the goodness of my heart, I'll dispose of it if you send it to me. Seriously, I love it. Its my favorite blade style.

Thanks gentlemen.
Nate, as far as big blades go, that is my favorite style as well. I am very satisfied with the profile and have used it on other knives as well.

Good looking knife and I like the fold over sheath. Nice job on both.

Looks good to me!! The only thing I would change is that little bit of a ricasso. I think the knife would look earlier if you ran the edge on back and just blended that area, but it is still a fine looking knife.

Thanks again fellers!
Wick, thanks very much for the critique. I have always done them like that without a lot of knowledge on early construction.
I will surely try that on my next ones.

I agree with Wick, run tthat edge all the way back. Thats the one that goes with my fowling bag isn't it.
Fix it before you send it to me, I'll make do with just the bag for now.

My first few knives have yet to be hammered out, but I hope they will look something like yours, a Cook's Knife style. Very nice!
