I bought a tote full of muzzleloader "stuff" on an online auction.

When going through it there were 6 vintage powderhorn's.
One on them caught my eye, she's a dandy.
It's signed "J Wiege", I don't know the guy, but this is a very nicely done horn.
Now that I'm lookin at the pics, I see that it might have had something else written on it but I can't make it out.

Cool horn. What other stuff was in the tote you bought? Inquiring minds... --JB

Here you go.

Everything looked good except the 1911 holster, bummer that the guy cut the flap off, but necessity is the mother of invention.

By the way the pic from the auction didn't show half of the stuff in the tote, what caught my eye were the powder horns.
So, it was fun digging through the tote.
Threw away a bunch of leather/lace, every item had multiple dangling "things".

It was a great buy.

There was one horn that the guy tapped, I've already scraped her down, and cleaned up the threads.
Did a bit of filing and I have her fitting pretty well.
I'm trying to decide what kind of a critters head I want to carve into the threaded top.
