T/C “Hawken” 54cal for sale

I’m selling this gun to finance another project. Also, this is an extra Hawken style for me. Hopefully the photos speak well for the gun. Price is $775 with buyer paying shipping.

The walnut stock is very nice with figure and curl that pops in the sunlight. Brass furniture has aged to a warm “old gun” tarnish that I find attractive. Of course, the brass can be rubbed back to bright if one prefers.

The true beauty of this rifle is the barrel. I know it says “50 cal”,but that is what it used to be. I sent it off to Bobby Hoyt about 18 months ago. He rebored the barrel for 54 cal PRB twist. The photo of the target is what I get at 75 yds with 80 gn 3f, 015 patch, 530 RB, off a bench. I’m able to hit clay pigeon targets consistently from that distance without much effort.  I prefer a Skinner peep sight, but have not included the sight with this gun. I added a photo of the sight at the end for reference.  If you really must have I will include for an additional $75.
