Charles Milliron

Came across a bit of Armstrong County history today. A rifle produced by Charles Milliron (1858-1931) whose father David Milliron apprenticed gunsmithing to William Shreckengost in Putneyville, Armstrong County PA in the mid 1800’s. Charles started his own rifle business in Dayton PA. This rifle bears his signature and shares characteristics of the Shreckengost family rifles. Probably not an exciting Rifle to anyone but people local to me, but I thought I would share it.

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.
