Latest Rifle finally finished

Hope it doesn't draw too much negative.  It is a bench copy [outline copied on paper and dimensions annotated for key areas]  of a Leonard Reedy from the Wolmsdorf  area.  .40 cal 42" swamped barrel from Rice.  Lock is Chambers Deluxe.  Sugar Maple stock from Tiger Hunt.  Brass still needs some patina.

I might decided to case color the lock later but right now I am happy with it white.  I have others I use which are white and I like the ease of maintenance on them.

This looks finely finished. Congrats on a very nice build. One area to compare to some Reedy originals is the slope of the stock beside the tang at the breech. On the ones I’ve seen the stock nearly meets the angling flats. It’s challenging to take that wood off at such a slope and fit the side plate in on that side, but on Berks guns it seems like most did it.

I lifted some Reedy original tang and side plate side “lock panels”.
