Coming along nicely, Bill. Every time I see that beautiful walnut stock, I get more enthralled by it.
Will you be adding any color/tint? I can envision a hint of red.
Really want to thank you for these wonderful videos. Very helpful no matter what style of firearm.

When I was much younger, I watched Saturday morning cartoons. Mickey Mouse, Wile Coyote, Elmer Fudd.
Now, as an old man, I watch Bill's excellent gun building videos. Thank you, Bill Raby!

Do they even have saturday morning cartoons anymore? If I owned a TV it would be fun to spend a morning watching those again.

Just Googled (is that really a word?) "Bugs Bunny Cartoons", came up with a bunch of Looney Tunes on YouTube.
Owe you a couple heavy boxes - if my danged spine will ever cooperate, will get them to you. Also have a few longrifles I'm trying to work on. Dust getting heavy on my workbenches.

Thats a very ungreatfull area for bedding. Guess you will get some trouble to get the barrel out, without breaking off some of this thin layers of acryl. Which release agent do you use?

The barrel came out with no problem at all. I used the release agent that came with the acraglass.

Good one, Bill. Could you use a scraper to smoothly remove wood, or solely for the final touch? I've never tried border carvings, altho I once carved a squirrel on an unmentionable - looked great.
Where in the world do you dig up those intros?

For what I am doing in the video I think chisel is about the only way to go. Scraper would work for smoothing it out afterwards. But I usually use rasps, files, or rifflers. I do the artwork for the intros myself. There are a whole bunch of websites where you can download music with no copyright

4 Bore Rifle #2 is finished. I got it done a few weeks ago. Just got the ball mold for it in and mounted on handles. That is more difficult than you would think. The ball for it is so huge that the handles do not open wide enough for it to drop out of the mold! A few minutes on the milling machine fixed that. I had a buyer lined up for it but that fell through. So it is going to Track of the Wolf this week. I will let them take care of selling it for me. It will include the ball mold, cleaning jag, ball puller, and a external hard drive with all the videos. The whole series goes up to Part 104 and comes to just about 58 hours in total. Powder charge for 4 bore go up to 550 grains of 1F. Heaviest powder charge I have used in a 4 bore is 500 grains. You get quite a lot of recoil from that! I usually keep it at 450 grains of 1F or 400 grains of 2F. I kept the first 4 bore that I built and shoot it quite a lot. That gun really is a lot of fun.
I will keep posting a new video every weekend on Rumble. All of the videos are posted on Patreon now. Link to that in the description in each video. I have too much fun with all this stuff.
