Heres some excess pewter Ive been saving to melt down. Itd be at home in some ladies hoosier cabinet too. Theres a little over 12 lbs. $120 shipped obo

Is it modern lead free pewter, or is it old pewter that contains lead?

Im not sure. And I didnt buy it new, so no way to tell the age.

Modern lead-free pewter tends to stay bright while pewter containing lead tends to darken and have a dull appearance.  Based on the pics, I would say the lot contains both.  For example, the tea pot and cream and sugar set appear to me to be lead pewter, while the goblets appear to be lead free.

 Most lead free modern pewter is marked to identify it as such. But, foreign import “pewter” could be anything, and unmarked.
