Home made bullet mold

Does anyone know how large you would have to make a cherry to get a .495 and .395 round ball? I know that pure lead shrinks as it cools and solidifies. I just don't know how much. I want to make a couple of small forged bag mold when I get some time.

Shrinkage for pure lead is almost exactly 1%.

That would put your .495 cherry at exactly .500 and your .395 cherry at .399.

Wheel weight lead is more like 0.8%.
