Jim Klein Carving Class
« on: January 07, 2010, 04:02:45 AM »
Anyone who would have signed up for Jim Klein's carving class in the fall and who still would like to learn carving from Jim can still do so.  Jim will be joining me the week of May 16 - 21 here in NC at Barbie's and my shop for our annual kit assembly and relief carving classes.  We already have a few signed up, but have room for several more.  Last year's class was a huge success  with much being learned, and a good time was had by all, not the least of which was sampling some of Barbie's great cooking.  Also joining the teaching staff again this year will be Mike Gahagan.  Just give Barbie a call at 828-667-8361 (9-5) for all the details.  She has a flyer she'll be glad send to you.

Just lasso you about two dozen or so Canadian geese and hang on, they'll bring you right to our pond that time of year!

This may be a dumb question, but would I be able to build one of Jim Klein's Peter Berry kits at your class?

Yes.  Just contact Klein and have him bring the kit along to the class for you.
