I love what Jim has done. He reinvented the wheel. His rifles are correct plus he is hard working & honest! Howard

It's pretty obvious judging from this post and several others recently here and on other forums the CNC carving option is polarizing. Many love it but many do not.

Yep I made the comment the hash marks were not my thing. Personal opinion only. Got a real nasty comment from you know who..  Not everyone is going to like what you like. It also has nothing to do if that person ( me ) can do better carving or not..   It's just personal tastes..!
  Deal with it

It’s true from my own rather recent experience that sharing an unfavorable opinion can really blow- up in your face. I was totally shocked at the responses and personal attacks toward me (by someone who I would never have expected it from) when I expressed a personal thought about this subject. What was an eye-opener was seeing the extreme defensiveness and “wagon circling” that went on. That was a really disheartening experience.
Sometimes people can really surprise you.

People get so defensive because when you criticize CNC carving you are saying they have to either pay someone more than they can afford to do the carving, or learn how to carve themselves.
