Horn

Acquired nicely curved horn at the Franklin, Tennessee show earlier this month. Was quite inexpensive. 11 inches in length, approximately. Any insights would be appreciated.

The faceted spout and spout tip often suggest a New England horn. Would it be possible to post a figure of the face of the butt plug? If it's soft wood it's probably a New England horn, and if a hard wood like walnut, perhaps a little farther west.

Outstanding architecture on the spout. Not easily executed. Delightful horn.

Thank you for posting a better picture of the plug. It appears to be a New England soft wood, so good possibility the horn is from that area. Regardless of where it was made, the spout shaping is very attractive and workmanship above average, just a really nice powder horn.

I like that horn
