Question about a Rifle in a publication

Hello everyone.

I have a copy of The Kentucky Rifle by Merrill Lindsay.  I am curious about the rifle on the cover of the book, it is also featured in the book as the 7th plate.  There are no page numbers.  The images are very limited and I am wondering if any of you know if this rifle is featured in any other publications?

Good Evening,

It seems to match up to one in "Kentucky Rifles & Pistols: 1750 -1850" published by Golden Age Arms Company and James R. Johnston for The Kentucky Rifle Association, 1976.

There is a full length image on page 48 - Rifle "B".  It's one of five rifles on the page so detailed it is not.
