Potential Valentine Fleck. Any thoughts?
« on: May 31, 2025, 07:58:22 PM »
I was hoping someone could help identify the signature on this rifle. Any other information and comments welcome.
Thanks,
Steven

It looks like a Huntington Co , Pa rifle from the dolls head patch box finial and the numerous silver inlays. Unfortunately from the  pix of the signature I can't help with the identity. Nice attic find.

Thanks,
Here is a closer picture of the signature, as well as one with some yellow chalk in it. Hopefully it can help someone figure out whose signature it is.

I’m guessing the second letter is L and the last might be a K.

You seem to be on correct trail. This will certainly make a nice mid-range Huntingdon Co long rifle properly restored.
