Muffle oven/kiln?

Any one buy one or use one of the imported "muffle ovens" for hobbyist color case work? They are on eBay in 110-220v and they seem to get hot enough. Also they have the digital controller and are priced quite a bit less than the big brand names for heat treat treating parts and pack hardening. They do seem to be easier to remove the crucible than say a potters kiln.

You need to make sure you know the size of the heating chamber.  My Neycraft is 9" x 7" x9" and is just barely large enough to do a large Siler lock.  Also, I would buy one that is wired for 220v.  It will heat up a lot faster and use less electricity.  I would like to have an oven with a larger heating chamber so I could do actions of guns that we are not allowed to talk about on this forum.
