Painted gun

62 cal smoothie. Gun I’ve planned for a while. Original trigger guard. Serpent out of old rasp. Fun project.

THAT is a dandy!!!!! It has its own appeal and the absolute simplicity is just that,absolute.What is the binding around the grip and the fore end? Keep up the good work.

Mighty fine artistry and craftsmanship Guido and using a farrier's rasp for the side plate was marvelous and innovative, the only thing I'd change is switching out the artificial sinew for elk or buffler back strap sinew and hide glue.

Great idea using the rasp for the serpent, the scales are built in. Very creative.

I Am Lovin’This One !!    A really nice job, and all the guys in our  club here in N W Indiana would be thinking up ways to trade you out of it !

I really like that. I've been wanting to put together a painted gun for quite a while now. There's lot's of really great ideas there.
