Make a good bit of money with these. I'm selling ANOTHER set of 50 strikers. These are from the same batch as the ones that sold a couple of days ago, so I'm gonna just freshen up the add and use the same photo as last time.

My picture shows a visual sample of what I'm trying to sell here as a single lot. I have a box of 50 strikers to sell cheap because they don't spark. This is why, years ago smiths would always try to buy worn out files, since they were made of high carbon steel and made good strikers. The ones I have were I guess made from newer files from India or Pakistan or somewhere and they look great with cross hatching showing on them (from the teeth of the files), however, they aren't quite hard enough. To make them work you need to heat treat them and put them in Kasenit or some similar case hardening compound that will harden steel. Or one guy said baking them in bone charcoal in the forge would do it. Well, the bottom line is that I paid a good bit for them and now I'm too old to harden them myself. I have a box of 50 pc. For 155.00 and I will pay the shipping. These strikers sell online or at shows for 12.00-15.00 each when they spark well. A little work can make you a real profit.

So, in summary, I'm selling the 50 strikers like those in the photo for $155.00, and I pay shipping.

Thanks,
Oldgunguy

PS: Please note that the lot I'm selling now also includes 3 shards.
