His last video posted talks about him fighting cancer 4 years ago. From my reading from a few other forums, he appears to have entirely stepped back from the content of YouTube to focus on what he is going through. I don't know his status, but this is my understanding from a quick google search. From the comments on his last video, he has been interacting with commenters as soon as three weeks ago.
Here is a comment from him from a month ago on a comment on the aforementioned video- "Hey thanks for the kind words and I’m glad the channel was useful to you. Yea, I’ve been considering coming back. Its a lot of work to he honest and that’s most of the hesitation I have about making more videos. Well, that, and i feel like I’ve mostly said everything I set out to say. We’ll see. Ive been getting the itch."
