Yes. There is a New Year's Day shoot, a Valentine (Sweetheart) shoot and a St. Patrick's Day shoot. Plus other squirrel shoots during the year. Last night we had our Gentleman's Brass Rail and Longrifle Society gathering, a night of pool, poker, moderate drinks and visiting, 12 of us. Neill showed us his brass barreled rifle. There were only two brass barrels made by the Green River Rifle Works. This brass is hard and heavier than steel. Herschel House got one of them, but it burned up in his shop fire. Neill got the other one from Pat, who also worked at GRRW, and is a close friend of Herschel. That may explain how Herschel got it. Neill had Ed Rayl contour it from 1" x 42" straight to tapered octagon to round, with a 1/16" flare at the muzzle. Neill forged the buttplate and trigger guard.and made the sights, rod pipes and poured the chevron nose cap. Triggers are commercial and the lock is a Dale Johnson from Chambers. It weighs 7.5 pounds and points easily!
