Recently made a trip north into Pa. and stopped for supplies at a "BP Gun Shop" in Chambersburg .
Noticed and had to handle a well built flinter built by a "young Maryland builder" ... who had not signed his work.
Handled the rifle a 2 nd time and well left because it was obvious his name was a secret ... of some sort.
It was a 40 flinter ,Siler lock which was fire blued with a Rice barrel I believe ... and out of place brass screw in the short tange was the only thing I disliked.
This builder shows tru promise and a future for the craft.
Anybody who may know "WHO" this builder is please add to this thread ... or contact me.
