2% of tin in the lead: Is it Ok for bullets?

I have found some lead I have cart into ingots some year ago.
I used to put 2% of tin in order to get better casting.
As some of you use strait WW for RB I know it will work for them.
Have you use tin-lead alloys for REALs and Maxis?

2% tin will not harden the bullets enough to prevent them from slugging up.

In schuetzen we use a 20 or 30 to one tin and pure lead mixture.  we mechanically force the bullet into the breech end of the rifling before inserting the charged case.  Some guys actually muzzle-load their bullets and breech load the cases.  NO patch is used, just the naked lubed bullet into the rifling.  the 20 or 30 to one is plenty soft.  I imagine you could load a diamond for a bullet since we are using patches anyway.
