Nice Jeager Roy, well executed. Nothing I don't like about it. I wish I could find the time to do some stuff like that.
 Also, The Hubbard gun from yesterday is one of the best I've seen from Jack, Very cool.!

Yes, Great looking gun.  I really like the hardware but especially like that your carving.  It does a great job of complementing the hardware rather than competing with it.

Roy,  I recall seeing this gun at the CLA show last year. It is a fine piece and my thoughts at the time were how you have really advanced, in a significant way, over the last 6 years since we first had the occasion to meet. It would be interesting to me and probably a number of others the story and inspiration behind this gun. To bad it only sits on the blog for one day as it deserves a week.  Regards,  HIB

Not too much to tell really lol.. Just started with wanting to build a Jäger and getting a barrel from Ed Rayl and then the hardware from Ron Scott... Other than that I just flipped through the Jäger book and took bits and pieces off from the different guns that I liked. I copied more of the Zellner profile...
 I try to build one or two guns for me every year along with the regular orders.  I figure that time is money and that I can either spend that money on something else, or take the time to build.  Sort of helps me keep motivated.
