This flintlock has been in my wife's family for more than 30 years. It was purchased in Coudersport, PA. The piece is marked J. Brooks in two places. I have contacted Jack Brooks and he says it isn't his.
It is a .40 cal straight barrel with a 14" length of pull. The barrel is 41" long.
Has anyone seen this work before? Can you help me?
