Upcoming TN/KY Rifle show...
« on: March 17, 2014, 01:11:48 AM »
I saw an announcement for the Tennessee/Kentucky Rifle show next month at Museum of Appalachia.   If one wanted to take the show in on Saturday, what would be the cost?

Cost is quite reasonable, it won't break the bank, but I forget the actual one-day figure. It is a good show with plenty to see, I plan on going again this year.

I believe the show ends early on Sat. You may want to check times to make sure.

The cost is minimal, but this is basically a Friday and Saturday morning show.  By noon on Saturday guys will be packing up.  That being said, it really is a nice show with good guns both old and contemporary showing up.  The dinner Friday night is also a must.

The posts from the two gentlemen above are correct. Noon Sat. seems to be the clean up and pack for home time.  The show does stay open after dinner Fri. night so if you can get there late afternoon Fri. you'll have a good time. The BBQ Fri. evening is worth the trip.  HIB

It's a 12 1/2-hour trip to get there for us and well worth every minute.  Always a great show with lots to admire.

The link to Dennis's post about the event provided much more info than the other announcement I'd seen.

My usual spring turkey hunt to that area isn't going to happen this year, so maybe I can work the TN/KY show with a side trip way up to Martin's Station.

Thanks, All, for the info.   SCL
