Impossible Shots, New Season
« on: June 30, 2010, 03:10:46 AM »
This season I start off with a 200 yard offhand shot at a gallon milk jug. It airs July 7th at 10:30 p. m., next Wednesday evening. I hope you all get a chance to watch. Look for the time lag between the shot and the bullet strike. Thanks for your support.

Hi Martin, for whatever reason the company does not post these shows on the internet, nor do they sell copies of the dvd's. I hope that will change someday.
and I hope you get a chance to see them.

Mr. Wallingford,

Of course I did that rifle proud. You did such a good job on that rifle, all I have to do is touch the trigger, the gun does the rest:)

I'm just glad they chose someone who actually knows what they are doing.  There's an episode shown once in a while with Greg Martin (Firearms Expert!!!) shooting a Brown Bess at the side of a fake barn.  What a joke.  He loads directly from a flask, has about a 3 second hangtime, and flinches like someone hit him in the head with a baseball bat.  Episodes like those on serve to perpetuate the myths about flintlocks.

I saw that episode too. Mr. Martin stated a disclaimer before he shot. He said he is not a shooter. He proved that instantly when he shot that bess.
