Edward Marshall ramrod pipes

My Chambers kit has cast pipes,which I'm filing out and cleaning up at the moment. Are the originals cast as well, or were they fashioned from sheet? Just wondered.

I am fairly sure that the pipes on most  any American piece from the 18th ca is going to be made from sheet and not cast. I  have not seen any to date at this point, not that there isn't but I have not come across any yet.
