Thanks for the kind words. This is my idea of a fantacy rifle based on N. C and Tenn designs. mot of all, it is a rifle based on the use of a 3/4" barrel. The barrel is 42" x .36 ca;. The breech end is sleeved on the top 5 flats and soft soldered on. Both the barrel and sleeve are tapered giving the effect of a tapered barrel 7/8" at he breech. This gives 1 and 1/2"at the end of the lock and sideplate pannels. The wrist is 1 1/4"x 1 1/4", getting rid of that slab sided look you get with small diameter barrels. The buttplate is forged from 1 piece CRS. The triggerguard is forged from 2 pieces 3/8" x 3/8" CRS. Nose cap is one piece 1/16" CRS. ide plate is 3/16" CRS. RR pipes are 1/16" Metal is colored with pewter oxidizer. Wood stained with Behlens solarlux yellow maple with medium brown over it and rubbed back. Chambers finish topped it. Any questions, let me know. Bob
