Ryan, kinda what I thought. Guess I'm learning something hanging around here.
The front sight is just large. Similar to a bayonet lug but not quite that big. It's a 12 bore and supposedly is made from an unchambered Mossberg Goose Gun barrel. Not real sure about that either.
The buttplate is quite wide, about 2" and perhaps early York?
I thought it looked like a fusil stock too. Guess I'll be heading in that direction.
Tim, it's unbelieveably light and shoulders quite well. It's one of those guns that everyone in my reenacting group wants because it's just so darn nice to carry.
