ALR Museum MD Gunsmith: "J." Marker ( James or Jacob?)...Sharpsburg, MD

The Marker family are well known Maryland gunsmiths, Daniel, James, and Jacob of Sharpsburg, MD.
This gun surfaced in the Shennandoah Valley just recently. It is absolutely in the "black." In its time of use the barrel was shortened by 2 inches at the breech.

As there are some known Markers gun around, please help us build a "Marker Exhibit" by sending us  more Marker guns.
